Snuck out in a lull between storm fronts to catch a few more shots with the crapcam. I was entertaining the idea of getting a new phone so I could have a pocketable camera on-hand to capture moments like this, but now I'm not so sure that I want one after all.
It's not the tool, friend, but he who wields it. Me, I have a digital camera and a couple of well loved analog SLR's, as well as a fun-time Diana F+, but I would trade them all for an ounce of your perspective.
ReplyDeleteThe word tool is problematic in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteI hear that polaroid cameras are back? As in, they are making new ones? Rumor?? That's what I want to drag around with me.
Agreed, Clickthing has The Eye.
Gasp! Was that ribaldry from Strikethru? Heaven forfend!
ReplyDeleteThis blog could use a ribaldry injection, that's for sure.
ReplyDelete@Strikethru: you heard right, as a side effect of The Impossible Project and helped by the Hipster Cred of Polaroids, there will be some new cameras coming out for a while.
Plenty to be found at the thrift store, of course, and probably for far less than the Hipster Price.
