The hitch is I live in Austin, TX, so the machine would have to be shipped. If you are up for it, cool, I am happy to send PayPal. If not, and you want to look for a local new home, I get it. Feel free to contact me at joeahearn at gmail dot com.

Best,
Joejahearnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15616092144304280174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-52897188782722205432013-07-04T09:32:39.949-07:002013-07-04T09:32:39.949-07:00Hi Michael! Of course the old '30s models are nice as well.... Oh heck, email me?

Also, if you have anything with a sans serif font, I'd love to know about it.

carolee dot gilligan at gmailAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-72487089783347010032013-07-03T22:24:41.722-07:002013-07-03T22:24:41.722-07:00heh, I was eyeing the Signature a little, but I do...heh, I was eyeing the Signature a little, but I do have Lazarus, so I don't need to get greedy. I wonder if Michael has it on his "keep" list anyway? They tend to grow on ya. Somehow the Brother Signature is speaking to me, even though I gave a similar one to the CTP a couple years ago. Go figure. Maybe it's all the posts by Ted, the Brother brand ambassador.notagainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02915679111849352765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-43407031321476260502013-07-03T20:32:49.433-07:002013-07-03T20:32:49.433-07:00That Corona Standard sure is a beauty....just sayi...That Corona Standard sure is a beauty....just sayin'!wordrebelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08477017129873915137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-35788339727920480362013-07-03T09:08:42.940-07:002013-07-03T09:08:42.940-07:00@Sheena and @Tony: the Champion does have disinteg...@Sheena and @Tony: the Champion does have disintegrated feet, if that colors your decision. I haven't been able to (yet) source replacement feet for it, but that typically means just wandering around the hardware store to look for something suitable that will fit. It's got two 'tall' feet and two 'short' feet if I recall correctly, so it's beyond the usual challenge of "find four rubber bumpers."

@Ted: Unlikely, if only because of the naming theme. :-)mpclemenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12807147515549175803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-22590418847024933682013-07-03T08:48:24.316-07:002013-07-03T08:48:24.316-07:00So Morticia and Gomez won't be leaving then? :...So Morticia and Gomez won't be leaving then? :DTedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16774432656602082311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-36080635057982802192013-07-03T08:02:01.076-07:002013-07-03T08:02:01.076-07:00I love the looks of that lovely 1938 Underwood Cha...I love the looks of that lovely 1938 Underwood Champion. I am near Auburn (just outside of Sacramento) and would jump at an excuse to visit The City - save you all that boxing. It would have a good home here. My keepers are daily typers, (see my typers in the Typewriter Database) used for correspondence with my many children and grandchildren. So they must be a pleasure to use, without onerous quirks - looks like that Underwood would fit well into that category.

Cheers,
Tony dot mindling (google)TonysVisionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16035849049327300498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-19793309606321299982013-07-03T07:54:55.007-07:002013-07-03T07:54:55.007-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sheenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07962488677594318776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-3732452300541649802013-07-03T07:54:54.708-07:002013-07-03T07:54:54.708-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Sheenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07962488677594318776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-4478246376025258422013-07-03T07:54:54.326-07:002013-07-03T07:54:54.326-07:00By any chance are the Erika or the Champion availa...By any chance are the Erika or the Champion available?Sheenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07962488677594318776noreply@blogger.com
