Either I complete it or I don't, really. One way or the other, it gets me writing faster and producing more fiction...that's just what I am looking to do!L Caseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00585495720234064210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-58048678365263000142012-10-26T07:33:14.940-07:002012-10-26T07:33:14.940-07:00Excellent advice. As...Excellent advice. The jade plant speaks truly!

As for NaNo...this year will be doubly interesting because I'm involving another person in the writing process; in fact, it's all about James and his family. I hope that interviewing him on tape works well!

Best of luck to you, of course!Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11633967390492270136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-78912770212869322722012-10-25T14:43:28.253-07:002012-10-25T14:43:28.253-07:00"When in doubt, injure a character."
Ye..."When in doubt, injure a character."

Yeah, I had my character attacked by a gang of bikers and it was a very good thing (not for him but for the novel)!Richard Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16232053429935587826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-71101374697463179542012-10-25T14:04:46.457-07:002012-10-25T14:04:46.457-07:00The longest thing I'd ever written prior to Na...The longest thing I'd ever written prior to Nano was a 15-page paper for some class, back in the dark ages. I laugh at that, now (granted, Nano is fiction...)

For me, it's about breaking it into chunks. Six pages a day double-spaced. Anything is allowed. Continuity is not important. When in doubt, injure a character. When really in doubt: dream sequence. And write with a buddy -- you'll have a whole classroom of cheerleaders, I hope.mpclemenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12807147515549175803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1058472817603514138.post-24807106061021275322012-10-25T14:00:25.690-07:002012-10-25T14:00:25.690-07:00I am really excited and a bit nervous.
