SM-3 keytops are individually-sprung, too. That is, each one has its own little spring hiding under there. It's like tiny mattresses for your fingertips.
The SG-1s have the lovely mattressy keytops, too. Comfy. I really should be using mine more. You know the main reason I haven't? 'Cause it freaks out the dog. I'm a softy. (And my dog is obviously broken.)
