I'm total city boy and my wife is from a family of blue-tarp campers so she teases me out on the trail. I'm thinking of doing Camp NaNo to write the novel I intended to last fall - basically a rewrite camp.
I think that I made it through one whole year of scouts (Cub-, not Boy-) and went off to a total of one week of camp when I was but a lad. 'Tis why I too intend to sent my brood off into the wilderness as much as possible.
As for Camp NaNo? Bah. I'd be lucky to have my current project done by November.
I got an e-mail from Chris Baty (especially for me, I'm sure) about the Camp, but I have too much else going on this summer. I hope to participate in November.
