Good luck!

If you write on a variety of typewriters, then you can probably tolerate the more finicky ones more easily.

That being said, it is best to zero in on the most dependable machines that will carry you through the long haul of November.

Zsa Zsa has a nice, clear typeface, so you should use her for NaNo, at least occasionally.

I feel the Studio 44 would be an excellent choice. Reliable, comfortable and competent. As Cameron pointed out - being dependable for the long haul is important.

Looking forward to seeing the end result!

Dude, I thought the Mothership you have on your desk was a shoe in. Or are you just flirting with your machines?

Zsa Zsa really is an excellent machine. That photo is from NaNo a couple of years back, so she's seen some service in the name of wordcount boosting.

Mind you, this is my at-work collection. I think I'm still pulling out the Beast for home typing, if I can clear out my usual spot in time.

I vote for Zsa Zsa.

I'm just waiting for Ton to jump in here and offer you some sort of prize for making your Studio 44 the Nano-Typo!

Really, though, the type looks very nice and they are splendid machines. Although, I am sure you have plenty of reasons for using a number of your machines. These auditions could take some time!
