Inspired by Strikethru's writing shack post. I concur: Cameron is really in isolated writing heaven up north. I think I need to wrangle an invitation and then never leave.
Could you use a typewriter in a meth lab? Would the ammonia corrode the metal or rubber or paint in any way? I sense the makings of a story there, Clemens.
You'll need some overhead covering for sure with that mulberry tree. I lived under the shade of a large one once and the birds...well, it's just not sanitary to stand there without an umbrella.
Screens are perfect. All the breeze without the bugs.
In the end, it seems our writing hideouts are about keeping all creatures great and small...out.
Not bad... I've been thinking about this myself, and I'll probably chuck up a bit of a posting of it this week, as I did a few sketches of what I would like. However, I've been thinking more about how I'd like to set it up - to be honest, rather than of location and what it is made out of.
Meth lab! I love it. I've been calling our shed 'The Grotto' - Mainly due to my frequent evocation of the lord's name while I'm working on something. As opposed to my office at work - which is universally referred to as 'the dungeon'.
"The Meth Lab"...HA! With all this talk of RV's and meth labs, I am starting to get anxious for the next episode of Breaking Bad. We don't have television, so I have to wait until the next night to watch it when it gets uploaded...ugh.
Your ideal shed sounds lovely. I am sure you would have enough room for a chair in there...even if you don't need it, it's nice to have the option, yes?

I think you're onto something with that final thought.
