@Duffy: They are magnets, part of a "learning the alphabet" toy from my youngest. I was typing on the bed, and she discovered that all sorts of fridge magnets would stick to the back of the machine (and I would put up a mock-fuss every time she did it.) She happened to show up with 3/5 of these letters on one trip, and that gave me the idea for the photo.
