Good observations, particularly about the overused "hipster" label.

I loved your post! I stumbled upon it via my Twitter saved search 'typecast'. I actually learned about this cool 'trend' of typecasting at Starbucks through a colleague who was scoffing. I was immediately intrigued and have given it a try with my electric typewriter.

Don't stop being a contrarian - it's so fun!

The only reason I haven't used those services more is I don't want to trap myself in a bubble. I read Fark.com a lot, it's all over the place.

Ensconsed as I am in this cultural backwater called England, I count my blessings that 'hipster' has no currency here. Unless of course regarding the cut of a pair of jeans, sometime in the 70s. I suppose it is only a matter of time... Nice typecast. I covet Sadie. She is loaded.

The typing hipster story proves that bullying never goes out of style. This is an adult dissing an adult as a means to generate the maximum number of page hits.

Sadie is a beautiful machine with a mocha theme that would fit perfectly in a coffee shop.
