OK, to retread a comment that someone made the fist time you mentioned it, it's got Jesus AND Magneto in it. Ya can't go wrong.

Although...I did like Rover a little more fun-sized. This one seems less terrifying for all his new surface area.

I saw another comment to the lines of "Jesus, Gandalf, and Jane Eyre!" which I find even more hilarious.

There's a few shout-outs in the trailer to the original series -- costumes, some dialog -- and the original appearance of Rover looks very much the blobby/cuddly weather balloon of the 60s version. But I like the mega-sized version -- much more ominous.

Of course, AMC is running this during November, the barstards. Argh.

First impressions: James Caviezel doesn't have Patrick McGoohan's presence.

I detect more than a syringe full of "Dark City".

The new Village looks like Havana.

I'm actually ok with Biggie Rover. That's the sort of element from the original series that it would otherwise be difficult to make not comical.

Well gee whiz, guys, my wife is telling me that "bigger is not always better" and that "size doesn't matter." She has to be referring to Rover.

Wait...what?

@Olivander: Caviezel's Six looks dazed vs. McGoohan's angry orange forehead version. I'm going to give it a pass, though, because from what I can see, McKellan's nailed his role. Still hoping it doesn't suck royally, of course.

@Speegle, I'm not going anywhere near that, nosiree.

Well.... you gotta have some big balls to have a run at this show.

Persons Unknown looks pretty cool too.... http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/07/22/sneak-peek-persons-unknown/
